Beautifully colored Red and Blue Russian Santa holding a staff and happy bear. He has a wonderful face and eyes. This Russian Santa Claus made is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is artistically embellished, hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
